Mental Health Skill-Building Services

Mental Health Skill-Building is a therapeutic service focused on teaching and reinforcing cognitive and behavioral skills to individuals with mental health challenges. This approach aims to enhance the individual’s ability to manage daily activities and reduce psychiatric symptoms. Key areas often include developing coping strategies, improving interpersonal skills, managing medication, and fostering independent living skills. The goal is to empower individuals to lead more fulfilling, self-sufficient lives by providing them with the tools and support necessary for long-term mental wellness for individuals residing in therapeutic group homes and assisted living facilities.

Crisis Stabilization

At Rise Counseling Services, our Crisis Stabilization program serves as an essential step-down service for individuals transitioning from more intensive mental health care settings. This program is specifically designed to bridge the gap for those moving from high-level care environments to more independent living, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition. It is ideal for individuals stepping down from:

  1. 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization: Providing continued support after short-term crisis intervention.
  2. Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Services: Aiding in the transition from inpatient psychiatric care to community living.

III. ASAM Levels 3.1 – 4.0: Supporting individuals moving from intensive addiction treatment settings.

  1. CSB Emergency Services: Offering follow-up care post-crisis intervention by Community Services Boards.
  2. Hospital Emergency Department: Ensuring continued care after emergency medical intervention for psychiatric crises.
  3. Mobile Crisis Response: Providing ongoing support following mobile crisis interventions.

VII. Partial Hospitalization Program (Mental Health or ARTS): A step-down from day-long hospital-based treatment programs.

VIII. Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (Mental Health or ARTS): Transitioning from long-term residential psychiatric care.

  1. Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit: Offering a less restrictive environment following residential crisis care.
  2. Short-term Detention or Incarceration: Assisting in reintegration and mental health support post-detention.
  3. Therapeutic Group Home: Providing a step-down from structured group living environments.

Our Crisis Stabilization program focuses on stabilizing the individual, preventing re-hospitalization, and creating a comprehensive plan for ongoing treatment and support.

This approach ensures that each person has the necessary resources and coping strategies to successfully integrate back into their daily life, promoting long-term recovery and mental wellness.
